About Happy Hips
Happy Hips Dance Troupe is an Oriental (belly dance) troupe
for youth. Any child who is a current participant in one of
Sadiya's classes is eligible. Currently we have kids from
2-13yo. Our first performance was at the Chapel Hill/Carrboro
Holiday Parade where we were voted MOST ORIGINAL by the
judges. Happy Hips was founded by Sadiya in NC and is now
directed there by Shaiya (Sadiya's twin sister). Sadiya is
currently the director of the Rochester, MN group.
